Alisa Evans Mike, mezzo-soprano, is a native of Tarboro, NC. Her love of singing was developed from early childhood, encouraged by her parents, as well as throughout her academic years by several music teachers, whom she credits with fueling her passion for music and performing. Alisa studied vocal performance at Saint Augustine’s College (University) in Raleigh, NC, where she later earned a BA in Communications.

 

You can see Alisa's "Vintage Thursday" solo act LIVE@The City Laundry, located at 901 Pollock Street in downtown New Bern, NC. Alisa performs Jazz standards, show tunes, pop, classical, rock - everything -  every 2nd and 4th Thursday, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
